Location: Lake Catherine is located in Salt Lake County, Utah at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. The best way to access the lake by taking the Mary Lake Trailhead at Brighton Ski Resort. At Brighton park near the ski lodge. The trail starts between the lodge and the bar. There are three lakes on the trail. The first lake is Lake Mary which is about a mile up. Just above Lake Mary is Lake Martha, and the third lake will be Lake Catherine.
