Directions

Duck Fork Reservoir is located in Sanpete County, Utah and is part of the Manti-La Sal National Forrest. The easiest way to get there is to start from Mayfield, Utah. Take Twelve Mile Canyon up to Twelve Mile Flat. There is a sign for Ferron Reservoir. Once you get close to Ferron Reservoir there will be signs you can follow. The road is usually impassible from December to June due to snow pack.

Updated for the 2024 fishing season. Limit 2 Tiger Trout. Closed to the possession of Cutthroat trout or trout with Cutthroat markings. Artificial flies and lures only. Duck Fork Creek and other Tributaries to Duck Fork Reservoir same regulations also closed January 1st 6 a.m. through second Saturday of July.

Other Info

 This location is used as a brood stock lake for Colorado River cutthroat trout. The road goes across the dam so you can drive right up to the water. This is a good lake for float tubers and canoes.
