The Whiterocks River Drainage on the south slope of the Uinta Mountains of Utah, contains over 70 lakes or ponds. 47 of them contain an active fish population. There are two main entry points to the drainage. From Lapoint you can enter through Paradise park road. From Whiterocks you can enter through Farm Creek road via the Elkhorn Loop Road.

Angel Lake WR-19 – Tiger musky, and arctic grayling. Overpopulated with grayling. TM stocked on 2 year cycle until population allows for cutthroat reintroduction. 

Ann Lake WR-74 – Cutthroat trout. Winterkills regularly. 5 year cycle stocked in 2025. 

Becky Lake WR-14 – Likely Brook possible cutthroat. Stocked on 2 to 3 year cycle. Brook 2024, and 2022. 

Chepeta Lake WR-64 – Likely Brook, possible cutthroat. Sterile brook stocked 2022 to attempt and lower overabundance. Cutt stocked 5 year cycle.  

Cirque Lake WR-33 – Grayling supposed to be 3 year cycle. Last stocked 2019. 

Cleveland Lake WR-7 – Brook stocked 5 year cycle. Cutthroat population believed to be gone. 

Cliff Lake WR-49 – Brook likely, possible tiger and cutt. Brook 2025 and 2021. Tiger 2023, and 2021. 

Dead Lake WR-29 – Grayling 3 year cycle. Brook population believed to be gone.

Deadfall lake – First stocked experimentally in 2020 with grayling. Lake never surveyed.

Denise Lake WR-9 – Brook Trout 3 year cycle. Stocked 2024, and 2021. 

Dollar Lake WR-43 – Brook and cutthroat. Last socked in 2005. 

Elbow Lake WR-58 – Brook trout 4 year cycle. 2024, 2020, and 2016.

Erik Lake WR-76 – Likely catch Grayling, or cutthroat. Brook possible. Natural reproduction. Not stocked since 1985.

Figure Eight Lake WR-56 – Very small population of naturally reproducing cutthroat. 

Hell Hole Lake WR-65 – Rotenone treated to remove brook in 2017. Cutthroat stocked 2022, and 2019.

Hidden Lake WR-63 – Cutthroat 2 year cycle. Brook trout were removed from the lake and Lynn Creek. 

Horseshoe Lake WR-67 – Cutthroat 2/3 year cycle. Can winter kill. Rotenone removed brook population.

Johnson Lake WR-30 – First stocked experimentally in 2021 with grayling. 

Katy Lake WR-34 – Cutthroat 2/3 year stocking cycle 2024, and 2018.

Larvae Lake WR-12 – Brook Trout 2 year cycle. 2024, 2022 etc. 

Lower Rock Lake WR-17 – Brook and tiger trout. Cutthroat possible but not likely. 

Middle Rock Lake WR-16 – Stocked with cutthroat. Experiences population collapse. 2025, 2023. 

Moccasin Lake WR-53 – Brook likely cutthroat possible. Stocked with cutts in 2024. Prior stocking way back in 1980. 

Nellie Lake WR-75 – Cutthroat, grayling, and brook trout. 

Ogden Lake WR-5 – Cutthroat stocked 2024, 2021. Can winter kill. 

Papoose Lake WR-52 – Brook likely possible cutthroat. Brook stocked 2025. 

Paradise Park Reservoir WR-18 – Rainbow likely brook possible. Stocked yearly with rainbow. 

Pearl Lake WR-45 – Brook likely catch. Cutthroat stocked 2024. 

Point Lake WR-6 – Brook trout 5 year cycle. Small population of cutthroat. 

Pole Creek Lake WR-13 – Tiger stocked yearly. Brook trout likely. Managed as rainbow fishery until 2015.

Queant Lake WR-4 – Fun fact. This was the first lake ever planted in the Whiterocks River drainage in 1928 by George Walkup. Brook 2025 on 5 year cycle. Cutthroat in 2023 although they have a history of not surviving here. 

Rasmussen 1 WR-35 – Brook trout 5 year cycle stocked in 2022. 

Rasmussen 2 WR-36 – Brook trout 5 year cycle stocked in 2022. 

RC #1 WR-2 – Stocked cutthroat 2/3 cycle. Can winterkill.

RC #2 WR-3 – not stocked. Cutthroat migrate from RC #1. 

Robb Lake WR-1 – Brook trout. Stocked in 2024. Winterkills often. Last fish survey only caught one fish. Only 5 feet deep. 

Sand Lake WR-42 – Brook likely, cutthroat possible. Cutthroat stocked in 2024. First fish stocked since 1983. 

Saucer Lake WR-41 – Brook trout. Stocked 2022, and 2017. Only 4.5 feet deep. 

Sharlee Lake WR-57 – Cutthroat trout. Brook removed with rotenone. 

Tamara Lake WR-73 – Cutthroat 5 year cycle. Brook trout used to be here but didn’t show up last survey. 

Taylor Lake WR-8 – Brook trout stocked 2022. 5 year cycle. 

Ted’s Lake WR-44 – Brook trout stocked 2/3 year cycle. 2025, and 2023. 

Upper Reader Lake WR-66 – Grayling likely, possible cutthroat. 

Upper Rock Lake WR-14 – Stocked with cutthroat. Can winterkill. 

Walk-Up Lake WR-55 – Stocked with brook tout. 

Watkins Lake WR-48 – Stocked with brook trout on 2/3 year cycle. 

Whiterocks Lake WR56 – Used for irrigation. Not stocked often winterkils. Some fish travel upstream to the lake. 

Wigwam Lake WR-54 – Last stocked with brook in 2020. Cutthroat possible but not likely. 

Wooley Lake WR-40 – Brook trout natural reproduction. 

Workman Lake WR-50 – Brook and cutthroat natural reproduction.
