The Ogden River runs 35 miles from The Wasatch Mountain Range to Ogden City where it converges with the Weber River. The Ogden River is made up of three forks, North, Central, and South.

The South Fork of the Ogden River between Causey Reservor and Pineview Reservoir is considered a Blue Ribbon Fishery.
