Directions
Lake Canyon Lake is located in Duchesne County, Utah. From highway 40 a few miles west of Starvation Reservoir take Strawberry River Road and head south for about 5.6 miles then take Lake Canyon Road about 6.9 miles to the lake. You will pass a couple of small lakes on Private property. Lake Canyon Lake is well marked and there is a couple of turn offs to the lake.

Fishing Regulations
Updated for the 2024 fishing season. Limit 2 trout only 1 may be a Cutthroat Trout over 22 inches. All Cutthroat Trout 22 inches or smaller must be immediately released. Artificial flies and lures only. The inlet is closed to fishing in the spring time. The dates are posted on a sign near the lake.

Other Info
The lake is used for brood stock of Colorado River Cutthroat. In the fall hundreds of desert big horn sheep migrate through the canyon each year.
