Directions: Currant Creek Reservoir is located in Wasatch County, Utah. From the city of Fruitland on highway 40 turn on Currant Creek road and head North about 13 miles to the dam. Most of the road has been recently paved and is in much better shape then in prior years. Only the last few miles of the road is now dirt. In the winter time the road is not always passable. The owners of the dam used to plow the road in the winter to access controls. Now the dam is controlled remotely so the road isn't plowed past the ranch half way up the canyon.
Fish Species: Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Tiger Trout, Mountain Whitefish, and Brown Trout. The stream below the dam has Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout.
Other Info: This is a popular area for elk hunting in the fall. There is also several campgrounds near the reservoir.
Fishing Regulations: The Reservoir follows general state fishing rules. The creek below the dam has the following regulations. From the confluence with Water Hollow Creek upstream to the headwaters, including all tributaries Currant Creek Reservoir, but not the reservoir itself. Limit 4 trout, artificial flies and lures only.
