Directions
East Canyon Reservoir is located in Morgan County, Utah. From I80 in Parleys Canyon take the Mountain Dell golf course exit highway 65 North. This road is closed in the winter time. You can also take the Jeremy Ranch golf course exit from Park City and follow the Jeremy ranch road (turns into a dirt road) to the reservoir. From the Morgan side in Henifer take Highway 65 West to the Reservoir.

Fish Species
Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Tiger Trout, Wiper, Black Crappie, Brown Trout, Crawdads. In 2019 over 10,000 Kokanee Salmon were stocked in the reservoir. This was the first time in over 20 years that Kokanne had been stocked in East Canyon.
Fishing Regulations
Updated for the 2024 fishing season. Closed to the use of underwater spearfishing to take largemouth and smallmouth bass from April 1 through the fourth Saturday of June.
Other Info
In June of 2023, a fish survey by the DWR biologists was conducted at East Canyon Reservoir. They caught several fat wipers that measured more than 20 inches long. The largest wiper caught was 25 inches, just 3 inches shy of the state catch-and-release record!
