Directions: Pole Canyon Pond is located in Utah County, Utah. The pond sits on the southeast bench of Santaquin, at the base of Pole Canyon.
Fish Species: The pond is stocked several times a year with Rainbow Trout. In 2015 there was 50 brood stock Cutthroat planted.
Fishing Advice: Most of the fish stocked here are under 10". So i would recommend using flies, or small lures that will fit in their mouths. Worms and Powerbait will work really well here too.
Other Info: The park that Pole Canyon Pond lies in has a fish cleaning station, restrooms, and benches around the pond. The pond was constructed in 2015. Typically each year the DWR will hold a fishing class for kids at the pond. Volunteering for this event will count towards your dedicated hunter hours. Regulations: Pole Canyon Pond falls in the community pond fishing waters regulations. The daily limit is two fish. Anglers are encouraged to voluntarily release all largemouth bass. Water are open to fishing only when the community parks are open to the public.
The park is open to the public between the hours of 6am to 10pm, between the dates of April 1st through November 1st.
