This subject seems to come up a few times a year. Is eating fish from Utah Lake safe? A can of tuna is going to have a much higher PCB content then the Utah Lake carp on the Utah Fish Advisory. Tube Dude adds his wealth of knowlege to this thread.

KSL had an article up about the five small Utah towns you should check out this summer. If you’re looking for a fun new hobby to share with your kids this summer, I recommend gold panning and metal detecting. Kids love it and you end up visiting interesting locations you would have never seen.
Vandalism in national parks has been a hot topic this week. This is a growing problem that needs more attention.
The City Creek and Folsom Trail project looks pretty interesting. There is a section of City Creek that is burried under ground. The Seven Canyon Trust and Salt Lake City Council is going to dig it up so that you can see the crek, then make a trail next to it so that families can use it.
DWR news.
The DWR will be hosting a fly fishing clinic in Cedar City on May 26th. The clinic is free, although you will need to register here to participate.

Other News.
The Utah Disabled Veterans Fishing Day is June 23rd at the Soldier Creek Recreation area of Strawberry Reservoir. The foundation is looking for volunteers with boats to take out veterans.
