Location: Ferron Reservoir is located in Sanpete County, Utah and is part of the Manti-La Sal National Forrest. From the city of Mayfield take Twelve Mile Canyon up to Twelve Mile Flat. There is a sign for Ferron Reservoir just before you hit Skyline Drive. Once you go up over the hill you will drop down into Ferron Reservoir. This road is usually blocked by snow from winter until mid June. You an also reach the Reservoir from the city of Ferron by heading up Ferron Canyon road about 30 miles.
Fish Species: Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Cutthroat Trout, and Tiger Trout.
History: In 2011 the reservoir was treated with rotenone to remove all the fish. After the treatment sterile fish were stocked into the lake along with Colorado River cutthroat.
